I am a passionate software developer who plans to make an impact in the world. I have been a former Graduate Teaching Assistant, and archery coach. My dream is to work for a software solutions company and to assist with many diverse and complex problems. I also hope to one day be a professor that can work on using AI solutions to assist teachers in teaching.
At a young age I was a very giving person, often times my parents would have to sotp me form giving away toys. I even lost a easter egg hunt because I would keep giving my eggs to other kids.
I was also rased with my older brother Pascal a caring and creative soul. While education was difficult my mother ended up pulling me out of public school due to bullying. I would eventualy start school at provate school call Counterpane Montessori School.
At Counterpane Montessori the different education style allowed me to devolp at a normal rate instead of being left behind in public school. I built many relationships and did multiple yearlong research papers on subjects like immigration, commic books, and game development. Counterpane Montessori instilled an enjoyment of education and learning experiences that I brought into university.
After Highschool I went to Kennesaw State University. At Kennesaw my education was in my own hands as I persued a undergraduate degree in Computer Game Design and Development. The cariculum focused around computer software development with a focus on game design and development. I excelled in courses like Data Structures, User Centered Design, and more. When COVID struck the world it was hard to connect to people on campus but through putting myself out there I ended up partcipating in clubs like the Young Democrats and Model United Nations. I would end up graduating in May of 2023, although wishing to do more advanced education I decided to work on getting a masters degree.
Moving into the masters program brought it's own challenges. I worked on many different projects from machine learning, AI robotics, and more. Along side my studies I worked two jobs. My primary job was teaching undergraduate labs at KSU, a job I took pride in and went the extra mile for. The second job I had was working at an archery range for Atlanta Archery Club, working along side other archers to bring archery to my community was a excelent way to build my skills away from a computer screen. My reason for earning a degree was to learn more about computer science and particularly the emerging artificial intelegence practices. While I wanted to do research into AI tools for assisting teachers the program did not have any professors interested in working on that with me.
What comes next?
Employment, I have built my knowlede and skills on different projects and now I'd like to build my professional experience and see how software development fits me. While one day I'd like to get a graduate degree I'd like to experence the feild and know what is out there and make an impact.
